A regional engineering business with a defined path to leverage.

Quilantic is early. This page states where the company is, what it is building toward, and what it is not yet — with the same discipline applied to the numbers as to the systems.

Summary

The case in four parts.

Opportunity, company, advantage, trajectory — stated plainly enough that each one can be checked.

01

The opportunity

Enterprise IT services is a $1.87T category worldwide and the Latin America & Caribbean market is forecast at $110.3B by 2030. Within it, regional mid-market and institutional operators carry significant manual process, face rising data-residency requirements, and are structurally under-served by both global integrators and off-the-shelf software.

02

The company

A Trinidad & Tobago engineering firm that designs, builds and operates software, data and AI systems for those operators. Four engagements delivered across five sectors, two systems live in production, founded and run by a software engineer and a chemical/process engineer.

03

The advantage

Two engineering disciplines applied to the same problem, in-country deployment that offshore vendors cannot match, principal-led delivery with no account layer, and a reusable component stack that lowers the cost of each successive engagement in a domain.

04

The trajectory

Deepen delivery in the sectors already proven, convert advisory relationships into build work, and continue consolidating the reusable stack so that margin improves with volume rather than only with rate. Capital would accelerate engineering capacity and in-country infrastructure.

Market

A large, growing services market with an under-served regional segment.

Quilantic operates in enterprise IT services — specifically the implementation and operation of custom software, data and AI systems. The figures below are third-party and describe the market, not Quilantic's share of it.

$6.37T

Worldwide IT spending, 2026

Forecast to grow 14.2% year on year.

Gartner, July 2026

$1.87T

Worldwide IT services spending, 2026

The largest single category of IT spend — application and infrastructure implementation and managed services.

Gartner, 2026

Latin America & Caribbean IT services market by 2030

A 7.3% compound annual growth rate from 2025 to 2030.

Market drivers

AI moving from pilot to operations

Budget is shifting from experimentation to deployment. The scarce capability is no longer access to models — it is the integration and process work that puts them into a live operation.

Data residency and regulatory pressure

Healthcare, financial and public-sector operators face rising expectations about where data is held and who can reach it. In-country deployment moves from preference to precondition.

Scarcity of senior engineering capacity in-region

Demand for systems work in the Caribbean consistently outruns the supply of engineers able to deliver it, and the strongest local talent is routinely absorbed by overseas employers.

Infrastructure and process modernisation

A generation of operational systems — spreadsheets, ageing on-premise tools, paper-backed process — is reaching the point where deferral costs more than replacement.

Where Quilantic sits in it

The addressable segment is mid-market and institutional operators in Trinidad & Tobago and the wider Caribbean carrying significant manual operational process — energy and industrial, healthcare, logistics, professional services and the public sector. Quilantic has not published a bottom-up sizing of that segment and does not present one here. What the third-party figures establish is the direction and scale of the category; the regional slice is the part still to be measured.

Business model

How the work becomes revenue.

Quilantic earns from engineering engagements and the ongoing operation of what it builds. The lines below are what the company sells today — not a projected product roadmap.

Fixed scope, milestone-billed

Build engagements

The primary line. A defined system, scoped against a measurable operational outcome, delivered in milestones the client can see and stop at. Scope discipline is the margin lever — it is why the process starts with modelling the operation.

Retained or engagement-based

Advisory & architecture

Technical strategy, system architecture and independent assessment before a client commits budget. Lower revenue per engagement, but it originates build work and establishes the relationship at the level where decisions are made.

Recurring

Operate & support

Monitoring, maintenance and iteration once a system is live. Recurring by nature and the component of revenue that accumulates as the installed base grows, without depending on lock-in to do so.

Where the leverage comes from

Ingestion, retrieval, approval workflow and reporting are built once and reused across engagements. Each delivery in a given domain lowers the cost of the next one, which is how an engineering firm converts hours into margin over time. This is the intended trajectory and it is already how the stack is being built — it is not a shipped software product, and this site does not describe it as one.

Traction

The record, as it stands.

Quilantic does not publish revenue, ARR, growth rates or customer counts. It is early, and a figure that cannot be evidenced in diligence is worth less than the space it occupies. What follows is verifiable.

0

Client engagements delivered

Two build engagements and two advisory engagements.

0

Systems live in production

lmmga.com and labquick.net — both publicly accessible.

0+

Combined years of engineering experience

Software engineering and chemical/process engineering.

0

Sectors with delivered or advisory work

Healthcare, professional services, public institutions, infrastructure, industrial.

Milestones

Delivery stack in production

The integration, retrieval and application layers described on this site are running in live client systems, not in prototypes.

First healthcare deployment live

LabQuick, a medical laboratory in San Fernando, is live and maintained by its own team — the handover model working as designed.

Advisory relationships established

DGIS and MVE Collectables engaged Quilantic for architecture and infrastructure judgment, the route by which build work originates.

In-country deployment path validated

Data-resident hosting is available and specified, which is what makes regulated and public-sector work addressable at all.

Advantage

What a competitor would have to assemble.

Six advantages that are genuinely true of this company today. None of them is a moat on its own; the combination is what is difficult to replicate at this size and in this market.

Two engineering disciplines, one team

A software engineer and a chemical/process engineer. Most firms model the software and hope the operation fits around it. We model the operation first — throughput, exceptions, constraints — which is why the scope holds and the system gets used.

20+ combined years across software, industrial process and technology

In-country deployment, where it matters

Based in Trinidad & Tobago, with the option to keep data resident in-country. For regulated operators and public institutions this is increasingly a procurement precondition — and it is not something an offshore vendor can offer at any price.

You own what we build

Source, documentation and the ability to run the system without us are part of every delivery. No dependency is engineered in deliberately. Engagements continue because the work is worth continuing, which is a materially different business to one built on lock-in.

Source and documentation transferred on delivery

A current AI stack, pointed at operations

Retrieval, document intelligence and agentic workflows built on LangGraph, the Anthropic SDK and Google Cloud — applied to reconciliation, review and reporting work, not bolted on as a chat box to demonstrate that AI is present.

The engineers who scope it, build it

There is no account layer between the client and the people writing the software. Requirements do not degrade in translation, decisions are made by the people who understand the consequences, and there is exactly one team to hold responsible.

Principal-led on every engagement

A component library that compounds

Ingestion, retrieval, approval workflow and reporting are built once and reused. Each engagement lowers the delivery cost of the next in the same domain — the mechanism by which an engineering firm earns leverage rather than only selling hours.

Reusable delivery stack across engagements
